1. About Roomcraft Concepts
Roomcraft Concepts is a virtual interior design studio providing remote design services for residential and commercial spaces. Our work may include design direction, layout recommendations, curated material selections, concept boards, and visual deliverables such as renderings, plans, and implementation guidance.
Because each space, scope, and client preference differs, deliverables and timelines vary by project. Any project-specific commitments will be described in your project brief, order confirmation, or written correspondence.
2. Eligibility and Account Information
You represent that you are legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction and that any information you provide is accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account access information and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Services, Scope, and Deliverables
Our services may include concept development, space planning, style direction, furniture and décor suggestions, material palettes, color direction, and third-party product recommendations. Unless explicitly included in writing, our services do not include architectural drafting for permitting, structural engineering, or licensed trade work such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or load-bearing modifications.
Deliverables may be provided as PDF documents, image files, and/or 3D visuals. Unless otherwise specified, measurements, drawings, and layouts are design guidance and should be verified on site prior to ordering, fabrication, or installation. You agree to confirm dimensions and constraints with qualified professionals as needed.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide timely and accurate information needed to complete the project. This includes, without limitation, room dimensions, photos, a floor plan (if available), constraints (doors, windows, radiators, vents), building rules (if applicable), and clear preferences for style and budget.
If you provide incomplete or incorrect measurements, you assume responsibility for any resulting mismatch, ordering errors, fabrication issues, or installation problems. We will reasonably rely on the information you provide.
5. Design Direction and Subjectivity
Interior design is inherently subjective. We apply professional judgment to create a cohesive solution based on your brief, inspiration, and constraints. We may suggest alternatives to improve flow, comfort, safety, and visual balance. Final decisions regarding purchases, contractors, and implementation are yours.
6. Revisions and Feedback
Revision rounds and feedback windows depend on the package you purchased or the written scope you approved. Revisions typically refine an agreed direction rather than restart the project from a new concept. Requests outside the original scope may require an adjusted quote or timeline.
For best results, you agree to provide consolidated feedback within the agreed timeframe. Fragmented or delayed feedback can extend timelines.
7. Scheduling, Timelines, and Communication
Timelines are estimates based on the assumption that you will provide requested inputs promptly. We will communicate schedule changes if they arise. Communication is typically handled through email and/or a shared project thread, depending on your package.
8. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes
Prices are presented at checkout or in a written quote. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the total amount, including applicable taxes. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may pause work until payment is resolved.
9. Intellectual Property and License
Unless stated otherwise, Roomcraft Concepts retains ownership of original design concepts, layouts, renderings, documents, and other deliverables. Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use deliverables for your personal or internal business use in connection with the specified project location.
You may not resell, distribute, publicly publish, or sublicense deliverables without written permission. We may reuse general design methods, templates, and non-identifying know-how across projects.
10. Third-Party Products and Vendors
We may suggest third-party products or vendors. Availability, pricing, shipping, lead times, and warranties are controlled by third parties and may change. We are not responsible for third-party performance, product quality, installation, or customer service. You agree to review vendor policies prior to purchase.
11. Safety and Compliance Disclaimer
Our services do not replace advice from licensed professionals. You are responsible for compliance with building codes, safety regulations, accessibility requirements, HOA/building rules, and permitting needs. If a design involves regulated work, consult qualified professionals before proceeding.
12. Cancellation
You may request cancellation by contacting us in writing. The effect of cancellation depends on project status and work already performed. Please review the Refund Policy for additional details.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roomcraft Concepts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, replacement costs, or delays arising from third-party vendors, shipping, contractor scheduling, or measurement errors provided by the client.
Our total liability for any claim relating to services will not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roomcraft Concepts from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of deliverables, your implementation decisions, inaccurate information you provide, or your breach of these Terms.
15. Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with that policy.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be effective when posted. Continued use of the site or services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict of law rules. Where permitted, disputes will be handled in a competent court with appropriate venue.
